Every programmer's story starts with the same two words, so it feels right to start this blog with them too: hello, world.
I'm Barış, an Artificial Intelligence Systems student at VILNIUS TECH in Vilnius, Lithuania. I spend most of my time building things: deep learning models for medical imaging, recommendation systems, data scrapers, and lately this website you're reading right now.
Why a blog?
Writing is the best way I know to actually understand something. A model that trains is not the same as a model you can explain. So this blog is partly a public notebook: when I finish a project or learn something that surprised me, I'll write it down here.

- Project write-ups — what I built, what broke, and what I'd do differently.
- Notes on machine learning and computer vision concepts, explained simply.

Neden blog?
Yazmak, bir şeyi gerçekten anlamanın bildiğim en iyi yolu. Eğitilen bir model ile anlatabildiğiniz bir model aynı şey değil. Bu yüzden bu blog biraz da halka açık bir defter: bir projeyi bitirdiğimde ya da beni şaşırtan bir şey öğrendiğimde buraya yazacağım.
